Gary Angle, age, 83, of French Village, passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, March 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and furry companion, Priscilla. Gary was born on Monday, January 5, 1942, in Poplar Bluff to the late Leo and Beulah (Woolard) Angle.
Gary retired from General Motors after dedicating over 33 years of service. He was a very dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend who deeply cherished time spent with his family and friends. Outside of work, Gary found true fulfillment in the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, relishing the tranquil moments spent by the water and eagerly sharing his catch with family and friends. His passion for tending to his vegetable garden and yard reflected his nurturing spirit, as he enjoyed blessing others with the fruits of his labor. Gary was actively involved in the Goose Creek Beautification Club where he volunteered a lot of his time and labor in order the further improve the community he called home.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lynne (Morris) Angle; daughter, Jodi Reynolds and husband Burt; son, Jason Angle and fiancée, Amy Crawford; four cherished grandchildren, Jacob and Connor Reynolds, Jason Jr. and Nathan Angle. He is also survived by three sisters and two brothers.
Gary’s family will hold a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, April 5, at 3:00 p.m. at the Goose Creek Lake Rec Hall at 6200 Office Road, French Village. Please join his family to honor him, share your memories and toast a “hoot” (Gary’s margarita) in remembrance of a great guy! Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
