Freeman R. Green, Jr.

Freeman “Junior” Roscoe Green, Jr., 59, of Farmington passed away March 27, 2022. He was born February 8, 1963 in Bonne Terre to the late Freeman Roscoe Green, Sr. and Eveh Zoe (Klinger) Green. Junior was employed with the Farmington School District as a custodian. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Tom Green and sister, Jacalyn Nesser.

Junior is survived by his loving wife, Penny (Slocum) Green; two children, Danielle Green and John Green; brother, Gary Green; two sisters, Barbara (Ron) Kennon and Pat Jordan; half-brother, Eugene Green. Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
