Frederick E. Hackmann, Jr.

Frederick E. Hackmann, Jr., 81, of Bonne Terre passed away December 19, 2016 at Woodland Manor Nursing Center in Arnold. He was born August 7, 1935 in St. Louis to the late Frederick E. And Martha (Walbrink) Hackmann, Sr. Fred proudly served his country in the United States Army and was recognized as a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus #1088. Fred was also a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Melissa Catherine Meder.

Fred is survived by his daughter, Tina Meder (Mrs. Jack) of St. Louis; stepchildren, Melissa Bennett and fiancé Scott Nash and Robert Clark; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Catherine Ann Jump of Farmington.

There will be a graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11AM. Arrangements are under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
