Fred Mallow

Fred Mallow, 72, of Bonne Terre passed away June 7, 2012 at his residence. He was born January 3, 1940 in St. Louis to the late Frank and Nellie (Hinkle) Mallow. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Military Police Unit. He worked for 14 years at the Pea Ridge Mine. Fred was in law enforcement for 30 years serving 13 years as the Chief of Police for the City of Bonne Terre. He was a member of the Old J.C.s Club, Bonne Terre Eagles and the Mineral Area Elks. Fred is survived by 5 Children, Tracy Mallow and wife Carmen of Springfield, MO, Todd Mallow and wife Janelle of Springfield, MO, David Mallow and wife Wendy of Bonne Terre, Stefanie and husband Bryan Russell of Bryan, TX, Mark Mallow and wife Mindy of St. Louis; 8 Grandchildren, Brittanie Lewis, Regan and Tyler Mallow, Layton Mallow, McKennon and Carrington Russell, Alex and Mason Mallow; Great-Grandson, Jaxson; Special Friends, Cynthia and Fred Robinson.Memorial visitation will be Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 10:00 AM until Noon at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Memorial service will be Saturday at Noon at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Chuck Lotz officiating. Burial with full Military Honors will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Backstoppers, Inc.
