Fred Beck

Fredrick Leo Beck, 90, of Festus passed away August 27, 2021 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. He was born July 19, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Leo Fredrick and Helena Marie (Eichburg) Beck. Fred proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Francis Elizabeth (Schoenebaum) Beck and sister, Victoria Overstreet.

Fred is survived by his daughter, Lisa V. Lengel of Festus, MO; four grandchildren, John R. Lengel of Hollywood, FL, Christi Hadley of Hillsboro, MO, Richard Lengel of Miami, FL, Tiffani Schaffer of Port St. Lucie, FL; six great-grandchildren, Garrett Hadley, Grant Hadley, Arthur “A.J.” Schaffer, Gabriela Schaffer, Sienna Lengel; sister, Susan Shelby; nieces and nephews, George Shelby, Natalie Vanwagner, Greg Overstreet, Kimberly Towne.
