Francis F. Counts

Francis F. Counts, age 91, of Bonne Terre passed away March 9, 2012 at his residence.He was born August 6, 1920 in Bonne Terre to the late Clifford and May (Dryer) Counts, he was also preceded in death by is wife Bertha Lenora (East) Counts.Francis retired from St. Joe Lead after 23 years as a surveyor.He also sold cars for Dryer and Blackwell Chevrolet, drove a school bus for North County Schools, gas truck for Chandler Oil. He was a 60 year member of Samaritan Masonic Lodge #424, and United States Navy WWII veteran. Francis and his son Gary did numerous side jobs together, welding, landscaping, and snow removal.Francis is survived by one son Gary and wife Janet Counts of Bonne Terre, step-grandson Jeff Rosener, step-granddaughter Cindy and David Spray, and two step great-grandsons Levi and Lucas Spray.Visitation will be Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 5 until 8 pm, Masonic Service 7 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Services Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11 am at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre. Interment Bonne Terre Cemetery.
