Frances Oder

                  Frances Oder, 82, of Desloge passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016. She was born Friday, September 15, 1933 to the late Andrew and Lova (Harris) Payne. She graduated from Missouri Beauty School in 1961. Frances volunteered every Christmas to cook for veterans and helped with breakfast at the Elk’s Lodge for many years. She loved to play Bingo.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her great- granddaughter, Shelby Lee Skiles; sisters, Juanita Gibson, Carol Lewis, and Leora Wofford and husband Art, brother-in-law Jimmy Rawson and sister-in-law Sandra Payne.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Paula Tiefenauer and husband Michael; son, L.D. Oder and wife Jackie; grandchildren, Teresa Montgomery and husband Terry, Gena Johnson and husband Keith, Amber Oder and fiancé Artie Pospeshil, Adam Oder and wife Leah, Joshua Oder, and Megan Oder; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Kyra, Dalton, Artie Jr., Andrew, Layla, Aubrey, Alex, and; brothers, Andrew “Sonny” Payne and wife Donna, Larry Payne, John Payne and wife Carol; sisters, Minnie Bayless and husband Dale, and Debbie Rawson; brother-in-laws, Ron “Button” Gibson and Kenny Lewis; many loving nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM with Bro. Brad Dush officiating at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington, Missouri. Memorials can be directed to Serenity Hospice Care or Mid-America Transplant
