Frances L. Gosling

Frances Loretta Gosling 77, of Bonne Terre passed away February 2, 2012 at St. Joe Manor. She was born July 25, 1934 in Bonne Terre. She was a devoted member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Bonne Terre and the Daughters of Isabella. Frances will be remembered as a loving wife and mother and also for her kindness and generosity. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, Denis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Firman and Augusta (Rosner) Pettus and one brother, Eugene Pettus. Frances is survived by her husband, Denis R.W. Gosling; five children, Pamela (Mrs. Larry) Boyer of Park Hills, Patricia (Mrs. Kevin) Pierce of Lake of the Ozarks, Ronald Gosling of Farmington, Chrissy Gosling of Farmington and Anthony Wayne Gosling of Festus; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Marie Bessie Young, Lorraine Jokerst, Betty Oshia and Shirley Christopher; one brother, Larry J. Pettus. Visitation will be Friday, February 3, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. John Schneider officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be made to masses.
