Floyd Lange

Floyd "Red" Lange, 89 of Desloge, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Country Meadows in Park Hills. He was born February 29, 1924 in Park Hills and later served his country in the United States Army. Floyd was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Park Hills, and VFW Post 5741. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.He is preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Dora Grace (Fickert) Lange; wife, Helen B. (Decker) Lange; brother, Oscar Lange Jr.; son in-law, Melvin Pherigo; and sister in-law, Mary Lange.Floyd is survived by children, Mildred Pherigo, Floyd David Lange and wife Cheryl, Loy Lange and wife Dee, Doris (Mrs. Hank) Vasel, Tracy Lange and wife Rhonda; eleven grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Lange; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, September 27, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The visitation will resume at Trinity Lutheran Church in Park Hills, Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The service will follow at 11:00 with Rev. Tristan Engle officiating. Interment will be at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington with Military Honors. Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or American Heart Association.
