Florence Harp

          Florence Harp, 86, of Farmington, passed away November 12, 2021, at Presbyterian Manor in Farmington.  She was born December 18, 1934, in Hastings, MN, to the late Paul and Edna (Wild) Briggs, Sr.  Florence enjoyed quilting, crafts and being outdoors, especially when it was time for mushroom hunting.  She had such a positive outlook on life and never met a stranger. 

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Harp, Sr.; siblings, Asia Briggs, Paul A. Briggs, Jr., Jessica Schriefels and one daughter in-law, Becky Harp.

          Florence is survived by her children, LeAnn Smith and husband David, Gleta Shelton and husband Victor; step-children, Jackie Sedlock and husband Tom, Harold Harp, Jr. and Jennifer Ray; eleven grandchildren, Joshua (Blair) Shelton, Kyle Smith, Derek (Abby) Smith, Mandy (Christopher) Beltz, Sarah (Stephen) Schicker, Scott (Elizabeth) Sedlock, Courtney (Brendan) Fitzgerald, Kiristen(Andres) Arbelaez, Lori (Gra) Balog, Kaytee Harp, and Ashley Ray;  fourteen great-grandchildren, Auburn Smith, Declan Smith, Owen Schicker, Easton Schicker, Jameson Fitzgerald, Daniel Fitzgerald, Keegan Fitzgerald, Kennedy Fitzgerald, Amelia Arbelaez, Emma Arbelaez, Tanner Balog, Tori Balog, Eva Harp and Daycee Harp.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.  Chaplain Bob Webb, will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Big River Cemetery in Irondale.  Memorials may be directed to the Presbyterian Manor.  The funeral service will be live stream on FaceBook.
