Faye Caroline Higgins

            Faye Higgins, 78, of Farmington, passed away February 22, 2017 at Parkland South in Farmington. She was born August 16, 1938, in Perryville, to the late Robert and Placide Prevallet. Faye was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington, and dearly loved her family and spending time with the grandkids. She spent many years in the restaurant business and retired after 18 years, from Biltwell Factory in Farmington.

             Faye is survived by her children, Becky (Eric) Rutz of Cuba, and Sandy (Chris) Henson of Doe Run; four grandchildren, Kyle, Katlyn, Justin, and Jennifer; six siblings, Bill (Stella) Prevallet, Jim (Bobbie) Prevallet, Robbie Prevallet, Mike (Karla) Prevallet, Joanna (Bruce) Chappius, Peggy Sutterer; first husband and close friend, Larry Lappe; many nieces, nephews, and friends also survive. 

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM. Father Rickey Valleroy will be officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.
