Evelyn A. Moak, 84, of Bonne Terre passed away May 11, 2016. She was born October 12, 1931 in Bonne Terre. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bonne Terre where she was a dedicated nursey worker for 46 years. One of her passions was to be able to bless others with her cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard W. and Louise (Lore) House; grandson, Nathan Barger; three sisters, Virginia Polly Sikes, Marjorie Biggerstaff, Clara Elders; two brothers, Stanford “Snooze” House and Norman “Skip” House.
Evelyn is survived by her loving husband, Dean Moak; three children, Steve (Janet) Moak, Randy (Michelle) Moak and Debbie Barger; eight grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan) Doyel, Anthony (Tori) Barber, Evan Moak, Austin Moak, Jesse Barger, Amanda Barger (Greg Stewart), Nora (Bryan) Hendrickson and Brittany (Nick) Stotler; twelve great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Ron Elders; several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her neighbors, friends and church family whom she deeply cared for.
Visitation will be Friday, May 13, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume Saturday at 9:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Bonne Terre where the service will be held at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ron Poole officiating assisted by Rev. Alan David.
