Ethel Malugen

Ethel Pearl (Dreier) Malugen, 90, of Winter Park, FL, formerly of Dothan, AL and Bonne Terre, MO, passed away May 13, 2012 in Winter Park, FL. She was born July 18, 1921 in Bonne Terre. She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church of Bonne Terre for over 80 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Ida Mae (Patterson) Dreier; husband, Clardy T. Malugen; brother, Albert Dreier; four sisters, Maudie Cureton, Gladys Mendenhall, Hazel Dotson and Loretta Edgar.Ethel is survived by her son, Joe T. Malugen of Dothan, AL; daughter, Clardy A. Malugen of Winter Park, FL; four grandsons, Jackson Hayes Malugen, Charles Thomas Malugen, Dylan Alexander Malugen and Jameson Thomas Malugen; brother, Fred L. Dreier of Cypress, CA; and sister, Evelyn Gibson of Bonne Terre.Visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume at 9:00 AM Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Centenary United Methodist Church with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael Kelpe officiating. Burial will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park.
