Essie Shoup

          Essie Shoup, 105, of Dacula GA, formerly of St. Louis, passed away February 13, 2021 at Hope Memory Care in Dacula.  She was born September 14, 1915 in Ellington, to the late Dea and Fannie (Helvey) Wells. 

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Phillip Shoup; siblings, Beulah Rhea, Harold Wells, June Swanson, Denver Wells, Jewelene Stern, Bernie Wells, Hazel Adamson, Betty Myers, Benny Wells and William Wells.  Essie is survived by several nieces and nephews.

          There will be a graveside service, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Redbud Memorial Cemetery in Potosi starting at 11:30 AM.  Arrangements are under the directions of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
