EMOGENE M. SCHWARTZ, 88, of Bonne Terre, Missouri, formerly of Red Bud, passed away at 7:25 pm, Thursday, April 25, 2013 at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre, Missouri. She was born to the late Albert and Flossie (nee Ball) Wiegard on November 27, 1924 in Garnavillo, Iowa. Emogene married Delmar J. Schwartz on February 6, 1947 at Prairie du Rocher, IL. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2006. Emogene, along with her husband Delmar, owned and operated North County Home Center in Red Bud, IL for 10 years until their retirement in 1983. She was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Red Bud, IL. She was a former member of the Red Bud Chamber of Commerce, an avid quilter and she enjoyed any kind of needle work.
