Emma Freeman

Emma Freeman, 88, of Park Hills, passed away October 29, 2015 at her daughters' home in Fredericktown. She was born October 10, 1927 to the late Lacey Lee and Lula May (Butler) Brewer of Poplar Bluff. On May 2, 1946 she was united in marriage to Leslie Evert Freeman, whom precedes her in death. She was a house wife and mother to ten children and was the oldest of seven siblings. She was preceded in death by daughter Martha Woodcock; baby boy, Freeman; Brothers Eddie and Corkie Brewer. Emma is survived by children Leora and Gene Walling of Williamsburg, Roy Freeman of Williamsville, Dennis and Gloria Freeman of Park Hills, Ronald Freeman of Fredericktown, Elmer and Terri Freeman of Sedgwickville, Ellen Lee of Park Hills, Tammie and Dave Stricklan of Fredericktown, Shirlie and Steve Bobbett of Ironton; twenty grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren; sister Terri Whalen; brothers Jim, Voris, and Posey Brewer; and a host of other family members and friends also survive. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 5 to 8 PM. The service will be held at the Caldwell Chapel Monday, November 2, 2015 at 1 PM with Bro. Fred Killian officiating. Interment will follow at the Doe Run Memorial Cemetery.
