Ellen Lachance

Ellen LaChance, 80, of Leadwood passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at Barnes Hospital. She was born Sunday, March 13, 1938 to the late Cecil and Ada Annabelle (Poe) Sneed. Ellen loved to read her bible, complete crossword puzzles, watch old black and white movies and was an avid fan of the show Walker, Texas Ranger.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie LaChance; brothers, William Sneed and Robert Sneed; and son-in-laws, Wayne Mahurin, Kenny Willard, and Craig Bruning.

Ellen is survived by her daughters, Sharon Mahurin, Sue Mitchell and husband Joe, Teresa Willard, and Charlotte Bruning; grandchildren, Carla LaChance, Shannon Smith, Scott LaChance, Lisa Otto, Sunshine House, Angela Travers, Amanda Bruning and Billy Tripp; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Terry, Dakota, Zane, Cole, Eric, Steven, Maggie, Ryan, Tonya, Trinity, Ella, Nora, and Lydia.

Visitation will be Monday, April 9, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Service will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery in Leadwood, MO.
