Mrs. Elizabeth Adeline 'Korber' Smith passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 6, 2004, at DesPeres Hospital, St. Louis Co., MO., at the age of 79 years, 9 months & 27 days. She was born March 9, 1924, in St. Francois Co., to Alvin Edward Korber & Adeline 'Bieser' Korber. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Willard Smith (1987); 1 daughter, Ida Mae Crump (1989); & 1 brother, Walter Karl Korber (1982). Elizabeth was retired from Trimfoot Shoe Co, & volunteered at the Gift Shop @ Parkland Hospital in Farmington. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: 2 SISTERS - Wilma Ervin, of Farmington; Arleine 'Mrs. Harold' Marler, of Farmington. 2 BROTHERS: Alvin E. (& Lucy) Korber, Jr., of Meridian, Kansas; Bill Korber, of Farmington. 2 GRANDSONS: Steven W. (& Tracy) Barlow, of Farmington; Scott Randall (& Theresa) Crump, of Texas; 4 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Aaron Michael Barlow; Garrett Wayne Barlow; Anna Mae Elizabeth Barlow & Randi Crump, all of Farmington. Also, a host of Nieces; Nephews & a Special Friend - Bill Douglas, of Park Hills. Visitation starts Thursday at 4 p.m., resumes Friday at 7:00 a.m., & funeral Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, at 2:00 p.m., at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Ronald Payne officiating. Interment follows at Knights-of-Pythias Cemetery, Farmington. Memorials to: American Heart Association.
