Elaine J. Hamby

Elaine J. Hamby, 81, of Bonne Terre passed away March 31, 2017 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. She was born February 21, 1936 in Winona, MO. Elaine was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Bonne Terre.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Beulah (LaRue) Fair; husband, Theodore “Ted” Hamby; son, Robert Theodore Hamby; brother-in-law, Wilburn Hamby.

Elaine is survived by her brother, Eugene Fair and wife Pam of St. Charles; sister, Janet McGary and husband Wes of Bonne Terre; sister-in-law, Treva Bounds and husband Leroy of Jefferson City. Several niece, nephews and dear friends from Centenary United Methodist and St. Joe Manor also survive.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Monday at 10:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. David Wiant officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Pine Lawn Cemetery in Winona, MO.
