Elaine Hadler

Elaine M. Hadler, 79, of Terre Du Lac, formerly ofSt. Louis passed away February 25, 2014 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center inSt. Louis. She was born March 7, 1934 in Altenburg, MO. She was a member of theSt. Matthew Lutheran Church in Bonne Terre for 12 years since her retirementand a previous member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Overland, MO for 45years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar andHertha (Ruehling) Haertling; two brothers, Raymond and Norman Haertling. Elaine is survived by her husband of 60 years,Arnold Hadler; two sons, Keith Hadler and wife Debbie of Glendale, Kevin Hadlerand wife Diane of Kirkwood; seven grandchildren, Geoffrey, Wesley, David,Heidi, Michelle, Katherine, William; two brothers, Leonard Haertling and wifeLorene, Edgar Haertling, Sr.; two sisters, Vernell Steiner, Gladys (Mrs. David)Prevallet; sister-in-law, Verna Haertling.Visitation will be Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 5:00 PMuntil 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.Visitation will resume at 11:00 AM on Friday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church at9135 Shelley Ave. Overland, MO 63114 with the service beginning at 1:00 PM witha luncheon to follow. Interment is scheduled at 11:15 AM Monday, March 3, 2014at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may bemade to St. Matthew Memorial Fund at 340 Summit St. Bonne Terre, MO 63628.
