Edwin Mount

            Edwin Mount, 99, of Leadwood, passed away June 6, 2018 at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. He was born June 5, 1919, in Iron Mountain, to the late Marma James and Florence Charlet (Province) Mount. He was a member at Irondale Methodist Church, Farm Bureau Board member, Soil and Water Conservation, U.S.D.A, and County Extension Board.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Marie (Bieser) Mount; brother, Monroe “A.M.” Mount.

            Edwin is survived by three children, William “Bill” Mount and wife Debby of Park Hills, Mary Coble and husband Steven of Union, John Mount and wife Teresa of New Haven; five grandchildren, Bryan Mount, Andrew Mount, Kyle Coble and wife Sarah, Jennelle Vickers and husband Matt, and Kara Ross; eleven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Maxine Pirtle.

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Deacon Mike Burch officiating. Interment will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials may be directed to the Park Hills Senior Center.
