Edward Gene Hartrup

Edward Eugene "Gene" Hartrup, 64, of Bonne Terre passed away May 8, 2012 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. He was born January 12, 1948 in Ironton.He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl (Belmar) Hartrup; special aunt and uncle, Dorthy and Arla Belmar; mother and father-in-law, Wanda and Elmer Voellinger; granddaughter, Samantha Hartrup.Gene is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sue Hartrup; two sons, Steven Hartrup, Randy (Donna) Hartrup; daughter, Ronda (Jeff) Hartrup Rawson; father, Donald Hartrup; nine grandchildren, Bradley, Kyle, Tricia (Stephen) Hartrup Skaggs, Brandi, Taylor, Heather, Chelsea, Nikki, Devin; one great-grandson, Mason Hartrup; one future great-granddaughter, Peyton Skaggs; brother, Kevin Hartrup; two nieces, Stephanie and Deanna; special family friend, Ann Lindsey.He will be greatly missed. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
