Edith I. Pitts

Edith Irene Pitts of Park Hills passed away November 23, 2012 at the age of 87.She was born October 22, 1925 in Bismarck to the late Elmer and Hazel (Bainter) Hampton.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Edward Pitts, five Brothers Elmer, Delmer, Vernel, Ernest, and Ronald Hampton, Sister Georgia Lee Hall, and two Brother-in-laws Elvin Bradley and Leon Hall.She is survived by two sons, Michael G. Pitts of Park Hills and Roger M. Pitts of California. One daughter, Katherine S. Pratte of Sullivan, MO.Five Grandchildren, Kelly Starr and husband Jeffery,Brent R. Pitts, Kara E. Pratte, Bryan A. Pitts, and Andrew J. Pratte.Great Grandchild Jamie Pitts.Two brothers, Shelby Hampton and wife Henrietta, Raymond Hampton and wife Sissy.Two daughters, Ruby Bradley and Ruth (Mrs. Ferman) Gettinger.She is also survived by 33 Very Special nieces and nephews.Visitation will be Tuesday November 27, 2012 from 5 to 9 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.Funeral Service will be 11 am Wednesday November 28, 2012 at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge with Brother Ferman Gettinger officiating.Interment will follow in the Leadwood Cemetery.Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimers Association.
