Earlene Peterson

            Earlene Kay (Lore) Peterson of Bonne Terre, born on January 31, 1940, passed away on May 11, 2017, in her home surrounded by her family. She is proceeded in death by her parents Earl and Alma (Hammor) Lore, and brother, David Lore.

Earleen is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ronald Peterson; two sons, Earl (Missy) Peterson and Jon (Tammy) Peterson; four grandchildren, Courtney (Nathan) Patterson, Jonathan Christopher Peterson, Ashley (Jeremy) Clay, Nathan (Kayla) Peterson; eight great-grandchildren, Caden, Braden, and Chaelyn Patterson, Karley Peterson, Madison and Sadie Clay, Wyatt and Whitley Peterson; Sis-in-law Judy Lore; two brothers-in-law, Larry Peterson and Leon (Mary Ellen) Peterson; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

         Earlene was a member of the Esther graduation class of 1957. Ron and Earlene owned and operated Mineral Area Welding in Leadington, for 35 years. Earlene enjoyed fishing, swimming, and most importantly, the great grand babies, every chance possible. She is loved and missed by all who knew her. 

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, May 15, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
