Earl Oliver Robertson

Earl Oliver Robertson, 99, of French Village passed away November 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born October 16, 1918 in Delong, Illinois.

Earl was a United States Navy WW II Veteran, he was stationed with the USS Oklahoma during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Earl was transferred to the USS Vestal and then to the USS Lowndes where he served out his tour with the Navy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Grace (Westerhold) Robertson. 

Earl is survived by his children, Ruth Trostel, Bill Robertson, Jan (Perry) Trober, Mary (Mark) Gebhart; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; brother, James (Betty) Robertson; sister, Bernice (Bill) Wright.

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 10:30 am until time of the memorial service at 11 am at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.  A private inurnment will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.
