Everett Earl Faircloth, 96, of Terre Du Lacpassed away March 15, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 2, 1917 in FlatRiver to the late Loyd Everett and Ellen Lena (Rolens) Faircloth. He waspreceded in death by his wife of 72 years Ruby (Landolt) Faircloth; son, JamesEarl Faircloth;2 brothers, Harvey Faircloth and one in infancy,; sister, EdithMeador.Mr. Faircloth was an Esther High SchoolGraduate class of 1933. He served his country during World War II with theUnited States Navy. After the Navy he went to work for St. Joe Minerals Companyworking there a total of 47 years. He later worked as a Tour Guide for theBonne Terre Mines for 11 years. He was a long time member of theCentenary United Methodist Church, regularly volunteered for the Bonne TerreNutrition Center delivering meals on wheels and was a past board member for theLeadco Community Credit Union. He was an avid bowler, St. Louis Cardinalsfan, and a very devoted family man.Mr. Faircloth is survived by his lovingcompanion Sherry Kuntz; son, Darrell and wife Jeri Faircloth of Bonne Terre;daughter, Nancy and husband Ted Haines of Herculaneum; Grandchildren,Brent Faircloth of Farmington, Amy and husband Scott Lix of Ste. GenevieveCounty, Ryan Cole of Arnold; Step-Grandchildren, Teri Wells of Bonne Terre,Larry and wife Debra Marler of Earleville MD. Gary Marler of Bonne Terre,Jarrod and wife Natalie Haines of St. Louis; Great-Grandchildren, Tyler Lix,Megan Lix, Hayden Lix of Ste. Genevieve County, Kaylee, Keagan, Kaden Cole ofWentzville; Step Great-Grandchildren, Amber Marler of Farmington, Lucas, Seth,Garrett Marler of Earleville MD., Tenaya and husband Casey Kelley of Desloge;Step-Great Great Grandchildren; C J Kelley and Carter Kelley of Desloge;brothers, Cletus (Jean) Faircloth of Viburnum, Gene (Norma) Faircloth; andSherrys children, Lesley Matlock, and Eric (Lotti) ReadingVisitation will beTuesday March 18, 2014from 4 to 8 pmat the C.Z.
