Mr. Earl Thomas passed away on Monday, Feb. 17, 2003, at his Farmington residence at the age of 83 years, 2 months & 9 days. Earl was born in Farmington, on Dec. 8, 1919, to Basil E. & Goldie M. 'Tawfall' Thomas. Preceding in death was 1 brother, Wendell Cleo Thomas (June 16, 1979). Earl was: * a US ARMY Veteran of World War II, serving as a Radio Operator in A.A.C.S., * a member of Norman L. Rigdon VFW Post #5896 & LePere-McCallister American Legion Post #416, both of Farmington; * life long member, Farmington Christian Church & * a retired Postal Worker. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: His WIFE - Helen A. 'Babb' Thomas, of Farmington; 3 SONS: Thomas E. (& Tammy) Thomas, of Fredericktown, MO; Alan L. (& Betty) Thomas, of Fulton, MO; Bruce L. Thomas & special friend Vivian of Lee's Summit, MO. 2 SISTERS: Ruth Stacey, of Park Hills, MO & Lois Anderson, of Oakridge, TN; 2 BROTHERS: Glenn W. (& Doris) Thomas, of Farmington; Donald W. (& Anita) Thomas, of St. Louis. Also surviving are 8 GRANDCHILDREN. Visitation Tuesday, 5-9 p.m., resuming Wednesday at 7:00 a.m., & funeral Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., February 19, 2003, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL with Rev. Dale Berck officiating. Interment following in Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Farmington. Memorials to: HospiceCare, Inc. - PO Box 1000 - Park Hills, MO. 63601
