Dottie Sue Compton

          Dorothy Sue “Dottie Sue” Compton, 84, of Park Hills, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Parkland Hospital in Farmington.  She was born on Wednesday, November 17, 1937, in Esther, to the late Frank and Mable Ellen (Center) McWilliams.  She was a homemaker and of Baptist faith. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.   

                   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darwin G. Compton; sons, Michael Compton, Terry Compton and Donnie Compton; sister, Martha Compton; brothers, Roger McWilliams, Alvin McWilliams and David McWilliams.

          Dottie Sue is survived by her; son, Keith Compton and wife Lisa; four grandchildren, Keith Compton, Jonathan Compton, Michelle Gray and Crystal Khan; ten great-grandchildren, Quintin Compton, Dawson Compton, Mileigh Compton, Brody Compton, Bentley Compton, Jayden Compton, Jamie Compton, Ella Gray, Anna Gray and Lily Wallace; daughter in-law, Nancy Compton; sister-in-law, Chris McWilliams along with other family and friends.

          No formal service will be held. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Oddfellows Cemetery in Bismarck.  Arrangements under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Park Hills.
