Mrs. Dorris Virginia 'Reed' Harris, passed away late Monday afternoon, Dec. 19, 2011, at Ozark Riverview Manor, in Ozark, MO., at the age of 73 years and 19 days. Dorris was born Nov. 30, 1938, in Chloride, MO., and was the daughter of Rev. Joseph Leslie Reed (1999), and Elta Virginia 'Sherrill' Reed (1996). Also preceding-in-death were, In-Laws: Denvel "Bud" Harris; Clarence Rhodes; Glenda & James Everett "Gib" Gibson & Louis Starnes.

Dorris was a member of the Kimberling City, MO., First Baptist Church and a former member of the Farmington First Baptist Church. Dorris worked for many years at Mercantile & US Bank for many years and then worked part time at Silver Dollar City in Branson. She enjoyed spending time around the lake.

Survivors Include: her Husband of 54 years - Leon Harris, of Branson-West, MO; a Daughter - Sherri (& Charles) Garrett, of Monticello, MS; a Son - Jeff (& Laura) Harris, of Ozark MO. a Sister - Clara (& Ronnie) Grimes, of Farmington; 2 Brothers: Rev. Charles (& Pat) Reed, of Archie, MO., and John (& Dotty) Reed, of Farmington. 4 Grandchildren: Adam & Cassie Garrett; Jacob & Leah Harris. Also suriving are Sister-In-Laws: Marilyn Harris & Alma Rhodes.

Visitation : Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., at TAYLOR Funeral CHAPEL

Funeral : Thursday, 1:00 p.m, Dec. 22, 2011

at : Farmington First Baptist Church, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating.

Interment : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington
