Dorothy Stevens

Dorothy Ruth Stevens, 85 of Bonne Terre passed away December 6, 2012. She was born March 14, 1927 in Bonne Terre. Dorothy lived her life as a loving wife and mother.She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Leona (Roux) Koester; first husband, Joseph D. Winston; second husband, Clinton C. Stevens; infant daughter, Caroline Winston; daughter, Arlene Blackwell; son, Clinton E. Stevens; two brothers, Donald and Cecil Koester; son-in-law, Richard Crocker; daughter-in-law, Linda Stevens.Dorothy is survived by her children, Jo Annette Winston of Park Hills, Leona (Terry) Kane of Park Hills, Jean Crocker of Park Hills, Carl Stevens of Farmington, Darlene Stokes of Park Hills, and Wanda Austin of Clarkston, WA; grandchildren, Chasity (William) Sago of Bismarck, Christine (Lee) Garner of Ironton, John (Karla) Blackwell of Bismarck, Matthew Winston of Clarkston, WA, Misty Shanks of Ironton, Tosha Whaley of Desloge, Angee (John) Barington of Park Hills, Terry Kane of Desloge, Richard Crocker of Farmington; twenty-two great grandchildren.Visitation will be Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Monday at 1:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. James Dyer officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association.
