Dorothy Hilda Thomure

Mrs. Dorothy Hilda Thomure, of Mapaville, MO., formerly of Farmington, passed away May 2, 2002, at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis County. Dorothy was born Sept. 6, 1929, in Pilot Knob, MO., to the late Gilbert & Hilda 'Roth' Lueddecke. Also preceding-in-death were: 1 Son, in-infancy, Walter Thomure & 2 Sisters, Nelda Chitwood Ellison & Nora Lueddecke. SURVIVORS INCLUDE : Her HUSBAND: Wendell E. Thomure, of Mapaville, MO; 3 SONS: David (& Leanna) Thomure, of Springfield, MO; Charles (& Chris) Thomure, of Farmington; Mike (& Jackie) Thomure, of Imperial, MO; 2 BROTHERS: Marvin (& Carnelia) Lueddecke - of Piedmont, MO. & Harold Lueddecke, of Wright City, MO. Also surviving are: 7 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren & other Relatives & Friends. Dorothy was a member of Crossroads Church of God, Libertyville & The Eastern Star Lodge of Ironton, Missouri. Eastern Star Services Will Be Held: Saturday, 7:30 p.m., @ Taylor Funeral Chapel. Dorothy loved taking care of her children; grandchildren & loved gardening - especially her flowers. Visitation will be Saturday, May 4th, 6-9 pm; resuming Sunday morning at 7:30 am & funeral Sunday, 2:00 p.m., May 5, 2002, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Rev. Ronnie Payne officiating. Interment following in Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington. Memorials may be made to The American Lung Association.
