Mrs. Dorothy Genevieve Ryan passed away on Monday morning, August 16, 2004, at The St. Francois Manor Nursing Home, in Bonne Terre, MO., at the age of 82 years & 20 days. Dorothy was born July 26, 1922, in St. Francois Co., MO., to James Everett Pigg & Maude Pearl 'Patterson' Pigg. She was married to Lynn William Ryan on July 31, 1940. Lynn preceded-in-death on March 21, 1953.

Dorothy was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Farmington & formerly operated a Beauty Shop out of her Farmington residence.

Survivors Include: 3 SONS: William E. (& Kristine) Ryan, of Pevely, MO; Donald E. Ryan, of Eldon, MO & James L. Ryan, of Boca Raton, Florida. 1 SISTER: Betty Williford, of St. Peters, MO; Also, 4 GRANDCHILDREN: Brande Ryan (Mrs. Ben) Hicks; W. Scott Ryan; Eric Ryan & Craig Ryan. 1 GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER: Ciara Ryan.

Visitation Tuesday, 3-9 p.m. Visitation resumes Wednesday morning, 7 am, & funeral Wednesday morning, 10 am, Aug. 16, 2004, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Fr. James Dyer officiating. Burial follows at New Calvary Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials to: * The Kidney Foundation.
