Dorothy "Dottie" Harttung

Dorothy “Dottie” Harttung, 90, of Farmington, passed away January 18, 2018 at NHC Healthcare in Desloge surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on October 14, 1927 in Whites Creek, TN. to the late Searcy and Selma (Stenberg) Capps.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Harttung; sister, Gladys Ballard; two brothers, Albert and Harvey Capps.  Dottie was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness who loved studying her Bible.  Her family and all children brought great joy to her heart.

Dottie is survived by four children, Al Rohrer and wife Mary of Farmington, Judy Gonz and husband Sam of St. Peters, MO., Joe Rohrer and wife Donna of Gallatin, TN., Mike Rohrer and wife Sherry of Coos Bay, OR.; 16 grandchildren of which 3 preceded her in death; 27 great-grandchildren of which 2 preceded her in death;  5 great-great grandchildren; brother, Sven Capps and wife Dixie of KY., and sister Sandra Reinhardt of Whites Creek, TN. are all left to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills, Friday, January 19, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.  Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Caldwell Chapel with Elder Mike Rohrer officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington.
