Dorothy Dot Blackwell

Dorothy G. "Dot" Blackwell, 88, of Bonne Terre passed away February 23, 2014 at Presbyterian Manor. She was born November 12, 1925 in Bonne Terre to the late Alonzo B. and Elva A. (Lee) Long. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Blackwell; brother, Junior Long; sister, Thelma Pinkston Miller.Mrs. Blackwell was an office manager for the former Bonne Terre Medical Associates for over 30 years.Mrs. Blackwell is survived by her son, Greg Blackwell and wife Paula; two grandsons, Christopher Blackwell and Patrick Blackwell. Visitation will be Tuesday February 25, 2014 from 4 to 8 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Funeral Service will be 11 am Wednesday at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed Alzheimers Association.
