Dorothy Cassiday
Dorothy “Dot” Cassiday, 77 of Park Hills, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born Sunday, July 2, 1939 to the late Harmon and Ruby (Powell) Nicholson. She loved children and often spent her time babysitting for family, friends, and neighbors.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Don “Baldy” Cassiday; sister, Joan Cauley; and granddaughter, Amanda Don Grounds.
Dorothy is survived by daughters, Beth Harrington and husband Ed, Kathy Jones and husband Larry, Julie Hulsey and husband Randy; grandchildren, Lee Ann (Chuck) Fisher, Jamie Currington and husband Brad, Chad Grounds and wife Tara, Jenna Hulsey, and Jessica Hulsey; great-grandchildren, Jake, Seth, Kara, Karlee, Gage, Maggie, and Jaxson; brothers, Danny Nicholson and wife Janet, Tom Nicholson and wife Carla, and Alan Nicholson and wife Paula; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills. Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel with Chaplain Joshua Burgard officiating. Interment will follow at the Doe Run Memorial Cemetery.
