Dorothy Alexander

Dorothy Alexander, 85 of Leadington, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. Dorothy was born April 19, 1928 in Flat River. She was a member of Parkview Free Will Baptist Church in Desloge. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Pinkney and Carrie Ethel (Cornman) Darnell; first husband, Willie Benton Conway; second husband, Carl E. Alexander; son, Carl Lynn Alexander; sister, Opal Johnson; brothers, William, Medford, Lee and Willard Darnell; infant sister, Bernice and stillborn sister, Betty.Dorothy is survived by her children, Stanley Benton Conway and wife Laura of Farmington, Linda Lee (Mrs. Jim) Hill of Desloge, Ronald Lynn Conway and wife Brenda of Bismarck; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Ralph Darnell and wife Glenda of Fredericktown, Gene Darnell and wife Ilene of CA.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel at 1:00 PM Friday, with Rev. Gary Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington.
