Doris Stacy

            Doris Stacy, 76, of Desloge, passed from this life September 28, 2020. She was born September 17, 1944 in Harrisonburg, LA to the late Willie and Gertrude (Aarons) Chapman. Doris enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, gardening, and spending time with her family. She loved her family and Jesus.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Nolan DeWayne Franks.

            Alive to grieve her passing is her husband Jerry Stacy of Desloge; her three daughters: Barbara “Babs” Nell Castleberry and her husband Terry Castleberry of Springfield, Tina Louise Cross of Vidalia LA, and Nina Marie Stockman and husband Gary Stokman of Monterey LA; son Ray Stacy of Killen, TX; four grandchildren, Christa Marie McCaleb and husband Josh McCaleb of Springfield, Kelsey Castleberry Helfer and husband Robby Helfer of Springfield, Terry “Lane” Castleberry II of Springfield, and Matthew Dalton and wife Tammy Dalton of Bonne Terre, four great grandchildren, Isaiah Lane McCaleb, Adilynn Marie Helfer, Owen Dalton and Cammi Lynn Dalton; sister, Alice Webb of Calvin, LA; brother, John Warren Franks of Georgetown, SC; in-laws, Patty Jarvis of Farmington, Jim Stacy and wife Jean of Santee, CA; several other relatives and friends love and will miss her.

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Reverend Terry Castleberry will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be directed to New Life Assembly.
