Doris Marie Washington

Doris Marie (Windeknecht) Washington, 67, of Sikeston passed away April 3, 2012 at Hunter Acres Caring Center. She was born April 17, 1944 in Cape Girardeau. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Emma (McClain) Windeknecht; husband, Walter Washington; brothers, Earl "Wayne", Charles Lloyd and Donald Ray Windeknecht; sister, Charlene Rose Windeknecht.Doris is survived by five siblings, Nelson Rex Windeknecht and wife Barbara, Ruth Ann (Mrs. Elmer) LaClair, Judith (Mrs. Larry) Allen, Galen Windeknecht and wife Faye, Phyllis (Mrs. Charles) Holcomb. Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. Visitation will be Friday, April 6, 2012 from 10:00 AM until Noon at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Friday at Noon at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 2:15 PM.
