Doris L. Young

Doris (Bush) Young, 83 of Farmington, passed away, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 2, 1929 in Cassville, MO. She was a faithful member of Gospel Light Free Will Baptist Church. Doris loved planting flowers and was known for her amazing flower beds. She was preceded in death by parents, Harry and Alta (Dilbeck) Bush and one sister Marzelle Hall. Doris is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph Young; daughters, Linda Mrs. Kevin OHara of Owensville, MO, Ruby Mrs. Bill Cowan of Winston Salem, NC, and Denise Mrs. Buddy Lay of French Village, MO.; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Harry Bush and wife Wilma of Kansas City, KS and Frank Bush and wife Barbara of Arkansas; sisters, Dorothy Roller of Monett, MO and June Mrs. Bill Leonard of Cassville, MO.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 5:30 ?? 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 9:00 AM at Gospel Light Free Will Baptist Church in Bonne Terre with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Larry Allison and Rev. Sid Laxton officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials can be directed to Gospel Light Free Will Baptist Church in Bonne Terre, MO.
