Doris L. Green

Doris L. Green, 81, formerly of Desloge, passed away October 23, 2014 in Columbia. Doris was born April 28, 1933 in Desloge. Doris was a public school teacher at West County Public Schools in Leadwood for 20 years, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Desloge. She was a devoted wife and mother of 4 children. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ruby Halbert; her husband, Ralph E. Green; and her daughter, Julie A. Green. Doris is survived by her three children, Daniel K. Green and wife Karen Hamer of Ashland, Marilyn G. Green of Jefferson City, and Richard D. Green of Columbia; and brother, Tim Halbert of Crystal City. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bradford Laubinger officiating. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Park Hills.
