Doris Jean Benear

Doris Jean Benear, 81, of Bonne Terre passed away September 1, 2016 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. She was born October 18, 1934. Doris was a member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Bonne Terre where she was active with the music and sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Lutheran Women’s Ministry Missionary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Janice Figliola and son, Ronald Benear, Jr.

Doris is survived by her husband, Ronald C. Benear and son, John J. Benear, both of Bonne Terre. 

The family would like to extend a Thank You to all first responders and everyone in the community for their quick action and continued support in their difficult time.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church with Rev. Charles Henrickson. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 1:45 PM.
