Doris E. Neiter

Doris E. Neiter, 81, of Farmington passed away April 12, 2018 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center. She was born December 18, 1936 in St. Louis to the late Charles and Josephine (Meister) Schaper. Doris was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Farmington.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon Schaper and Clarence Schaper; three sisters, Carol Jean Schaper in infancy, Verna May Patrick and Sandy Boyer.

Doris is survived by her loving husband, Walter G. Neiter; four children, Cindy Easton and husband John of Eureka, MO, Tammy Neiter of St. Louis, Bryan Neiter and wife Linda of Ste. Genevieve, Christy Holt and husband Christopher of Farmington; seven grandchildren, Brett (Kristen) Fallert, Shayna (Aaron) Laramore, Ashley (Brady) Dean, Sydney and Alex Neiter, Garrett and Gracie Holt; four great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Addison Laramore, Briley and Brantley Dean; two brothers, Darrell Schaper and wife Myra of Texas and Bill Schaper and wife Linda of Bloomsdale, MO.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Visitation will resume at the Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM on Monday. The service will be held at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Farmington with Rev. Richard Foss officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Heart Association.
