Dora L. Wilson

Dora Lee Wilson, 85, of Terre Du Lac passed away November 6, 2017. She was born April 22, 1932 in Mickel Switch, Arkansas. Dora was a member of the Church of Christ in Bonne Terre and also volunteered at Parkland Hospital in Bonne Terre for 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Esther (Spainhour) Tharp; husband, Avon Wilson; three brothers, Ivy Neal Tharp, David Edward Tharp, Bobby Ray Tharp.

Dora is survived by two children, Kathy Morrison of Greenville, SC and Ken Wilson and wife Kim of Bonne Terre; six grandchildren, Steven Christopher Wilson, Brandi Lynn Carter, Julie Ann Evans, Ryan Lee Magruder, Sarah Elizabeth Isreal, Christopher Matthew Tull; thirteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two sister, Dorothy Jean Johnson of Fayetteville, NC and Vera Eulean Smith of Brooklin, AR.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Thursday at 10:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Ed Blair officiating. Entombment will follow at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum in Poplar Bluff.
