Donna Marie Harris

Donna Marie Harris, of Desloge, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024, at the age of 77. Born in Hopewell, Virginia on October 3, 1946, Donna was a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, who loved her grandchildren immensely.   

 
With a kind and sweet spirit, Donna had a knack for cooking and shopping, indulging in these passions whenever she could. Her commitment to her work as a dental assistant at the Missouri Correctional Center in Farmington was unwavering, where she excelled in her role. Donna was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Farmington. 
 
Donna leaves behind her loving daughters, Jodi Wilcox, Mandi Herzog and husband Eric, Kelly Ireland and husband Billy; and son, Todd Harris. Donna was an adoring grandmother to Luci, Bucklei, Harris, Kelsey, Michael, Emily (Jawaun), Anna, Sara and one great-grandchild, Ava.  She is also survived by her brother Gary Douglas and wife Marilyn; sister, Paula Neighbors and husband Randy.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Garner and husband Raymond; father, John B. "Bennett" Douglas, Jr.; husband, Michael “Mick” Harris and one brother, Al Douglas.
 
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at O’Dell’s Dance Center 521 N. State St. in Desloge, Missouri. Memorial visitation will start at 1:00 PM with the Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00 PM. Lunch will be provided following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
 
Donna's genuine kindness and dedication will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace.
