Donald Williford

            Don Williford, 85, of Desloge, passed away May 18, 2018, at his home. He was born January 23, 1933, in Bruce, MS, to the late Cecil and Bertie (Thomas) Williford. Don loved to play golf and was a member of the Lead Belt Golf Course in Bonne Terre. His other loves were gardening, and fishing.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karen Rosener; and two brothers, Earl and Bill Williford.

            Don is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Shirley (Kimbrell) Williford of Desloge; two daughters, Kim Lewis, Holly Pope and husband Greg all of Bonne Terre; grandchildren, Melissa Van Heule, Drew Rosener, and Aaron Lewis; great-grandchildren, Landon, Logan, and Lexa; sister, Geneva Miller; two sisters in-law, Jean and Sue Williford.

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, May 22, 2018, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. It was Don’s wish to be buried at Bonne Terre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the St. Francois County Relay for Life.
