Donald Paul Jaster, Jr.

Donald Paul Jaster, 70, of Bonne Terre, passed away surrounded by his loved ones, on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at his residence. He was born on Monday, September 13, 1954 in Bonne Terre, to the late Donald P. and Florence E. (Pierce) Jaster, Sr. He was born of Catholic faith. 

 Don lived a life defined by strong will, unwavering independence, and a boundless affection for his family. He was avid cross-stitcher and embroiderer, he found joy and creativity in his crafts. His passion for the Scouting program in his earlier years laid the foundation for a lifetime commitment to nurturing the growth of his children, Kim and Mikki, and later, his grandchildren. Family gatherings were enriched by Donald's infectious spirit, particularly during the holiday season. He had a deep love for Christmas, filling the air with delicious aroma of his baked creations.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife, Alberta L. (Pyeatt) Jaster; siblings, Sharon Misplay and Kenneth Jaster; In-laws, Duggie and James (Bo Bo) Pyeatt. 

 Don is survived by his children, Kimberly Cooke, husband Thomas Cooke, Mikki (Michaelina) Jaster, wife Sarah Evans; three grandchildren, Brooklynn, McKenley and Mason Cooke, along with many nieces and nephews. 

 Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer Funeral home in Bonne Terre on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 9 A.M. until service time of 11 A.M. with Pastor Ryan Retzer officiating. Burial will follow in Pyeatt Cemetery in Bonne Terre.
