Donald D. Jones

Donald Devillo Jones, 92, of Terre Du Lac passed

away July 4, 2013 at Jefferson Barracks VA Hospital. He was born March 12, 1921

in St. Louis. Donald proudly served his country in the United States Marines

during World War II. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Park

Hills. He was also a Lifetime Member of the Bonne Terre VFW Post 6883, American

Legion and the Desloge Eagles.He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and

Bessie (Taliaferro) Jones and wife, Mary Maude (Turlington) Jones.Donald is survived by one daughter, Donna (Mrs. Bud)

Petrick of California; two grandsons, Bart Sayyah and Trent Brown both of

Colorado; three great-grandchildren; brother, Stanley Jones and wife Dorothy of

Arkansas; two nieces and one nephew. Visitation will be Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 5:00 PM

until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Service

will be 8:30 AM on Monday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Park Hills with Rev. Robert

Eggers officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National

Cemetery at 10:30 AM. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
