Donald Cox

Donald Cox, 72 of Des Arc, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at NHC Healthcare of Desloge. He was born on Wednesday, February 26, 1941 in Elvins, Mo.He was preceded in death by his parents Dyer Cox Sr. and wife Amanda (Hasty) Cox; two sons both named Donald Eugene Cox, Jr.; and two sisters Velma Counts and Ruthie Watson.Donald is survived by children Carol Sue Cox, Vikki Beers, Rebecca Lee, Kathy Cox, Melvin Cox, Eugene Cox, Roy Hawkins; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings Barbara Counts, Lillie Fenwick, Dorothy Griffin, Dyer Cox Jr., David Cox, Pam Spradling, Jimmy Cox, Judy Hooks, Mary Marshall. Visitation is Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM with Rev. Cleo Counts officiating the funeral service at 2:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills. Interment will follow at Adams Cemetery in Frankclay, Mo.Memorials can be directed to the family in care C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel.
