Diana Martin

Diana Martin, 72, of Mineral Point, passed away February 26, 2023, at Mercy Jefferson in Festus.  She was born March 29, 1950, in Bonne Terre, to the late Harold Paul and Naomi Ruth (Ames) Steinmetz.  Diana attended the Assembly of God Church in Irondale.  She was a member of Eagles Lodge in Desloge and enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, playing Bingo and spending time with her friends, but most of all her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James “Jimmy” Steinmetz.

Diana is survived by her husband of 16 years, Melvin Martin, Sr.; children, Glen Martin, Melvin Martin, Jr., David Martin and wife Veronica, Loretta Bouse and husband David; multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren; siblings, Stephen Steinmetz and wife Sandy, Wayne Steinmetz, Vickie Carroll and husband Bob, Cindy Bosier and husband Travis; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends, also survive.

A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 5:00 PM until the Celebration of Life at 6:00 PM.  Reverend Dennis Minks will be officiating, assisted by Rev. J.C. Moore.
