Dewayne Lewis

Dewayne C. Lewis, 72 of Desloge, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center.He was born October 10, 1939 in Corning, Arkansas. Mr. Lewis was a member of the Lively Stone Tabernacle Church in Desloge. He had retired from McDonald Douglas as a tools grinder, after working there for 27 years. Mr. Lewis is preceded in death by his father, Guy C. Lewis and a sister, Linda Sue Denny. Dewayne is survived by his wife, Joyce Cecelia (Murphy) Lewis; his mother, Beulah Marie Lewis, daughters, Laura Ann Wilson, Carla (Mrs. Todd) Dugal, Darla (Mrs. Rick) Hayes; seven grandchildren, including these who live locally, Nicholas & Nathaniel Dugal; Kaitlin & Corey Hayes.One sister survives, Patsy Joyce McCready of St. Charles along with three great grandchildren. Visitation for friends is from 10 am to 1pm at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, July 16, 2012. The service will follow at 1:00, with Rev.
